Precious Lee for Christian Siriano
Christian Siriano's show was amazing. His pieces were beautiful. The prints and colors were perfection. Plus, for the second season in a row, he used quite a few plus-size models, which isn't surprising since he is very outspoken about inclusivity in fashion and has designed pieces specifically for plus-size women in the past (see previous posts here and here).
Prabal Gurung, a designer who has offered designs up to a size 22 and speaks frequently about inclusion in fashion, also presented a stunning collection. It featured some beautiful prints, bold colors, intricate details and several plus-size models (my fave pieces here, here and here).

Iskra Lawrence & Sabina Karlsson for Chromat

It would be great if the inclusion of plus-size models actually led to designers investing in extending their size range. It would also be nice to see the designers who currently make clothes in extended sizes push retailers to stock larger sizes in their stores visibly.
What do you all think of the inclusion of plus-size models in New York Fashion Week? Is the fashion industry using us for buzz or are they attempting to make some real changes?
