Shirtdresses are one of my favorite pieces to have in my closet, aside from skirts, because they offer the versatility that I love. Not only can you style them for day or night, but you can also wear them in a variety of ways (e.g. unbuttoned and draped over a cami, tucked into a skirt or pants, etc.) Below, the look I've styled is perfect for a day at the office and then a few drinks afterward.

It's only February, but 2016 is already shaping up to be an amazing year for plus-size fashion. Between the launches of various campaigns, lines and capsule collections, I can barely contain myself. Today, I wanted to give you even more exciting plus-size fashion news and share the beautiful images from PLY's, first New York Fashion Week runway presentation. (See my previous post or check out their website for more info on PLY as well as more images of the collection.)

It seems that 2016 has been filled with amazing news for the plus-size world. First, the Who What Wear x Target collection launched, inclusive of plus-sizes (see post here). Then, Lane Bryant launched its fabulous collaboration with Otis College (see post here). And, now, Beth Ditto has revealed a collection that is certainly swoon worthy! Her collection features a mix of bold prints and sophisticated silhouettes that I am definitely loving. My favorite pieces are the Lola Dress (1st row - left) and the Double Bubble Printed Dress (2nd row - left).

If you're on the hunt for affordable and stylish plus-size clothes, I know the struggle can be real at times. There are only a handful of fast fashion brands that cater to plus-size women and even fewer that create budget-friendly options that are actually on-trend. Thankfully, there's Boohoo Plus. Boohoo is a UK-based fast fashion retailer that offers fashionable pieces that can easily fit into any shopping budget.

Ever since Rachel Roy announced that she would be creating a plus-size collection for Spring 2016, I've been anxiously awaiting the launch. This is mainly because there are so many amazing pieces in the straight-size section (like this and this) that I've been coveting and I was hoping that similar pieces would finally be available in plus sizes.

On Tuesday, Lane Bryant released its latest collaboration, the Otis Collection, which features designs from 12 students attending the Otis College of Art and Design. Lane Bryant worked with these students as a part of the school’s mentor program and I must say the results are amazing. The collection offers beautiful minimalist pieces that can easily be paired with items in your current wardrobe.

As you know from my previous post, Who What Wear has partnered with Target to create some amazing pieces. What I love about the Who What Wear collection, other than the availability of plus-size options, is that the pieces are elevated basics that are stylish and totally wearable. Below, I've styled a look that demonstrates how easily you can combine their pieces with items that exist in most wardrobes.
