Breaking Plaid

As you all are well aware, I live for black and white outfits (see here and here).  However, to keep this classic combination from becoming boring, I often look for pieces with interesting silhouettes or fun prints.  A couple of weeks ago, to attend the Marina Rinaldi x Plus Model Mag event, I went with a fun plaid print pant from Anne Klein for a look that is simple, yet stylish.  Sadly, these pants are not available in plus sizes and only go up to a size 16.  However, there is elastic on the sides of the waist that may allow them to work for larger sizes.

How do you keep black and white interesting?

Thanks for reading.
